Attorney Torreão da Costa moved to the United States in June 2016 with his family as an immigrant. He has been an attorney in Brazil for over seventeen years in the field of product/premises liability, mass tort litigation, and employment law while also providing legal translation and interpretation services from English to Portuguese and vice versa.
Eduardo began his legal studies in 1997 and graduated from Universidade Candido Mendes - Ipanema in September 2002. After four years from his graduation in law school, Eduardo attended an LLM program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - Direito Rio Business School, where he earned his LLM in Brazilian Business Law and graduated in 2007. Two years later, he enrolled at another LLM program in California at Whittier Law School, where he graduated in 2011 and earned an American Master Law Degree.
As an immigrant himself, attorney Torreão da Costa understands the difficulties of immigration and he has made it his mission to make the process as smooth as possible for his clients.
Attorney Torreão da Costa is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
